These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of Krilo, including the iPhone app, Apple Watch app, website, backend sync services, AI food analysis, AI meal planning, shopping-list features, Apple Health integrations, and subscription features.
Acceptance
By downloading, accessing, or using Krilo, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Krilo.
Eligibility and License
You must be legally able to enter into these Terms. Krilo is not intended for children under 13, and users under 18 should use Krilo only with permission from a parent or guardian. Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Krilo grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for personal nutrition, fitness, and meal-planning purposes.
Accounts
Krilo may use Sign in with Apple, email/password login, or other supported authentication methods. You are responsible for keeping your device, password, and account access secure. You may not impersonate another person, use another user's account without permission, or provide false account information.
You may delete your Krilo account in the app. Deleting your Krilo account does not cancel an App Store subscription or guarantee an Apple refund; subscription management and refund requests are handled by Apple.
Subscriptions and Billing
Krilo Premium is currently offered as a monthly auto-renewable subscription, with a free trial when available. Prices, trials, renewal terms, and offers may vary by region or App Store configuration. The App Store purchase sheet controls the final price and billing terms shown to you at purchase.
Subscriptions are billed and managed by Apple through the App Store. Unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, subscriptions automatically renew. You can manage or cancel your subscription in iOS Settings under your Apple ID subscriptions.
Krilo does not process your payment card information. Refund requests and billing disputes are handled according to Apple's App Store policies. If any subscription description in Krilo conflicts with the App Store purchase sheet, the App Store purchase sheet controls.
AI and Nutrition Accuracy
Krilo provides calorie, macro, meal-plan, grocery-list, food-search, and recovery-related estimates. Some estimates are generated by AI photo analysis, AI text meal parsing, food-search fallback estimates, AI meal-plan generation, or AI grocery ingredient decomposition. These estimates may be incomplete, inaccurate, delayed, unavailable, or unsuitable for your specific needs. You are responsible for reviewing and correcting entries, meal plans, shopping lists, and estimates before relying on them.
Krilo is not a medical device and does not provide medical, nutritional, diagnostic, treatment, eating-disorder, diabetes-management, pregnancy, clinical nutrition, or emergency advice. Consult a qualified healthcare professional before making health, diet, weight-loss, athletic, medication, or medical decisions.
Do not use Krilo as the sole basis for clinical nutrition, medical care, safety-critical decisions, or treatment of any medical condition.
Apple Health and Device Integrations
Apple Health access is optional and controlled by iOS permissions. If you grant access, Krilo may read selected Apple Health data, including activity, body, workout, heart, respiratory, temperature, and sleep data, to provide calorie adjustments, Trends, Recovery, Sleep, and Strain features. You may revoke access at any time in iOS Settings.
Scores, trends, rings, summaries, and recommendations based on Apple Health data are informational estimates only. They are not medical or safety advice.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse Krilo, including by:
- Attempting to reverse engineer, scrape, overload, or disrupt the app, backend, or APIs.
- Bypassing subscription controls or access restrictions.
- Uploading illegal, harmful, infringing, or abusive content.
- Using Krilo to build a competing service through unauthorized access or data extraction.
- Violating applicable laws or third-party rights.
Your Content and Data
You retain ownership of your food logs, photos, text descriptions, meal-plan prompts, planned meals, favorites, feedback, and other content you submit. You grant Krilo a limited license to process that content as needed to provide the app, including syncing entries, analyzing meal photos and text, generating meal plans, building shopping lists, verifying subscriptions, operating optional data-consent features, maintaining security, and responding to support requests.
If you opt in to anonymized marketplace exports, Krilo may include eligible anonymized nutrition records in exports as described in the Privacy Policy. You can revoke consent for future exports.
Intellectual Property
Krilo, including its software, design, branding, workflows, text, and other materials, is owned by Krilo or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership of Krilo intellectual property to you.
Third-Party Services
Krilo relies on services such as Apple, Google Gemini, Open Food Facts, USDA FoodData Central, hosting providers, and email providers. Grocery-list features may provide Kroger and Walmart search links. Your use of those services through Krilo may also be subject to their terms and policies. Krilo is not responsible for third-party service outages, data inaccuracies, search results, retailer availability, pricing, product substitutions, or policy changes.
Warranty Disclaimer
Krilo is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, availability, and non-infringement.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Krilo and its owners, employees, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, health outcomes, nutrition decisions, shopping decisions, training decisions, or recovery decisions arising from use of the app.
Apple Terms
If you download Krilo from the App Store, your use of the app is also subject to Apple's applicable App Store terms, including Apple's standard licensed application end user license agreement unless Krilo provides a separate App Store-compliant license.
Termination
You may stop using Krilo at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create security risk, misuse the service, or if continued operation is no longer commercially or technically practical.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will provide notice where appropriate. Continued use of Krilo after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms will be governed by applicable United States federal and state law, excluding conflict-of-law rules. If a mandatory consumer-protection law gives you rights that cannot be changed by contract, those rights still apply.
